The Hongdao Cup National Curling Championships 2024 was held in Aurora Ice Rink in Taipei on September 7-8. Team Taiwania competed in the Open Men’s and Open Women’s Division, where there were 5 teams in each division. After the double knock-out stage, both of our men’s and women’s team won in the semi-final and advanced to the finals on Sunday.
In the women’s final, the game was tied at 4-4 after the 7th end. But without the hammer in the 8th end, the opponent scored one and we finished with the silver medal. In the men’s final, the game was also tied at 4-4 after the 7th end. With the hammer in the 8th end, we scored one and won the gold medal.
